Live vaccinations, certain diuretics, and aminoglycoside antibiotics are some of the products that can cause negative drug interactions with cisplatin. Some of these interactions could increase your risk of serious side effects, such as hearing loss and kidney damage. To ensure a safe treatment process with cisplatin, tell your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking, including nonprescription medicines.
