Ovarian Cancer Risk Factors

What Can I Do to Lower My Risk?

If you can lower your risk by modifying any of your risk factors, certainly consider making those changes. If you can't change any of your ovarian cancer risk factors (and even if you can), consider aiming for a healthier lifestyle in general. Eat right, aim for a healthy weight, stay active, stop smoking, and limit drinking. It's not entirely clear how much impact these lifestyle changes will have in ovarian cancer prevention, but they'll help prevent a host of other diseases, including many other types of cancers.
