Because thiotepa is given by a healthcare provider in a healthcare setting, an intentional overdose is unlikely. However, an overdosage can be dangerous, so it is important to seek immediate medical attention if you believe you may have been given too much thiotepa.

Thiotepa will be stored by your healthcare provider. It is stored refrigerated and protected from light. Keep this and all medicines out of the reach of children and pets.
It is important to try and remember your appointments to receive your dose of thiotepa. If you do happen to miss a dose, contact your healthcare provider right away to reschedule.
This medication is only available in generic form (see Generic Thioplex).
Brand-name thiotepa (sold under the name Thioplex) was previously made by Immunex. However, Immunex no longer makes this product. Currently, this medication is only available in generic form. Generic thiotepa is made by Bedford Laboratories.
This medication is available in one strength and form: Thiotepa 15 mg per vial injection.
